Give a Book — the Fund’s yearly book giving

Since its founding, the Nico Kvaratskhelia Fund has taken part in the “Give a Book” initiative every year. In 2023 its gift was meant for the mountain library in Shatili; in 2024, for teachers living in Georgia’s regions.

About the project

In April 2023, the Fund joined the “Give a Book” challenge — and went further: books bought by the Fund were to be added to the mountain library in Shatili. The Fund thanked Giorgi Kekelidze for this opportunity.

In April 2024, the month of book giving, the Fund announced that it was joining the initiative and giving books as gifts to teachers living in Georgia’s regions. In the Fund’s words, “only a well-read generation can create a worthy future and lead the way on the world stage”.

On 23 April 2026, World Book Day, the Fund said that it had taken part in “Give a Book” every year since its founding, and that this year, too, it would have its favourites.
