In September 2022, under the leadership of the Nico Kvaratskhelia Fund’s initiative group, Nico’s family funded an IT lab at the public school in the village of Jgali.
As part of the project, the school’s computer science room was refurbished and equipped with technology. Since 15 September, it has been named after Nico Kvaratskhelia.
“Wherever Nico’s name is heard, it means new challenges, new ideas, a better future — and all of this also means great responsibility. Proof of this is that today, with funding from Nico’s [Fund], an IT lab has opened at the Jgali school.”
