About the project
Junior Tech is an initiative to develop the skills of children and adolescents, launched by the Business and Technology University (BTU) with the support of UNICEF Georgia. Within this project, the Nico Kvaratskhelia Fund and BTU signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Under the memorandum, the Fund will pay for a one-year course of study for three beneficiaries. The course modules cover cyber hygiene and internet safety, the principles of digital technology, and a basic course in digital literacy.
Through Junior Tech, children and adolescents who are socially vulnerable, have disabilities or are in state care, as well as those taking part in diversion and mediation programmes, will receive fully funded training.
In its review of 2023, the Fund listed its support for Junior Tech among the projects it had carried out.
