About the project

Hack Days Georgia 2023 presented, with particular pride, a prize named after Nico Kvaratskhelia: the Nico Kvar Prize. It was awarded for the first time in 2023, and from then on it is to be given every year to the very best early-stage tech entrepreneurs from Georgia.

Four more successful projects at the hackathon received grants. The event was held with the support of several organisations, among them the Nico Kvaratskhelia Fund, the Business and Technology University (BTU) and Gagra Ventures.

Hack Days 2024 also presented the Nico Kvar Prize, once again intended for the winner. The hackathon was scheduled for 29 November to 1 December at the Business and Technology University in Tbilisi and was organised by Gagra Ventures and Degamefi. Its tracks were Web3, AI, robotics, gaming, AR/VR and more.

The hackathon “AI, Blockchain & More” was scheduled for 14–16 November 2025, with a prize pool of $10,000. The winning team was to receive the Nico Kvar Prize and the chance of further investment from Gagra Ventures.
