For a second year now, the Nico Kvaratskhelia Fund has had a young scholarship holder from a family affected by the Shovi tragedy.
The Shovi tragedy claimed the lives of 33 people, among them young people and small children, and left behind pain beyond words and so many questions.
The Fund’s scholarship holder is a child from one of the affected families. In August 2025, two painful years after the tragedy, the Fund was already supporting the child for a second year.
