The story
On 24 February 2024, the Nico Kvaratskhelia Fund announced a partnership with Digital Institute. At Digital Institute’s initiative, young people selected by the Fund would be able to take a course of their choice within one year, completely free of charge. The Fund described it as an important offer for everyone, and especially for those interested in technology. It also thanked Digital Institute.
According to the announcement, besides programming, Digital Institute offered courses in 24 different digital professions, including tech recruiting, branding and strategy, and interior design. The programme was led by lecturers who had worked in software development at Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Tesla, Toptal, EPAM and other companies.
Young people interested in the courses were asked to write to the Fund by email, and the Fund would get in touch with them after reviewing their requests. On 6 March, the Fund reminded young people that under the partnership they could take a fully funded Digital Institute course, and asked those interested to fill in an online application form.
